KUALA LUMPUR, SEPTEMBER 9, 2018 – A glamorous evening of fashion shows, music and dance took place at the Spanish Steps of Pavilion KL today. It is the 2nd Anniversary of JUNIOR LOOKBOOK at Pavilion KL. The grand stairway of Pavilion KL, the Centre Court, as well as the surroundings of the mall were packed with invited guests and shoppers who have joined in this joyous occasion.
The highlight of the evening was a solemn ceremony to officiate the Global Registered Trademark of JUNIOR LOOKBOOK. The Chairman of Active Fashion Worldwide Sdn. Bhd - Mr. Brian John Yim and its Managing Director - Mr. Matthew Benjamin Yoon jointly put in the ‘R’ symbol into the company’s logo. Joining in the ceremony were members of the high society like Chancellor Silvia Marrara (Deputy Head of Mission of The Embassy of Italy), Puan Sri Datin Seri Dr. Susan Cheah (Exco member of The Sunway Group), Dr. Elizabeth Lee (Senior Executive Director of Sunway Education Group), Ms. Amber Chia, Ms. Kung Suan Ai (Marketing Director of Pavilion KL), Dato AC Mizal & Datin Emylia (celebrity entrepreneurs), Encik Bon Zainal (celebrity designer), Ms. Carrie Lee (former Miss Chinese Cosmo International) and many more.
The atmosphere was totally electrified when 75 selected kids models stylishly cat-walk their way from the top of the mall’s grand staircase all the way down to the Centre Court. This is the first time Pavilion KL has converted the Spanish Steps into a runway. It was indeed the first of its kind runway show in the world! How very spectacular!
The choreography was divided into 5 main groups to showcase the latest collection of Young Versace, Moschino Baby Kid Teen, Paul Smith Junior, Aigner Kids and Kenzo Kids.
Apart from the fashion show, the audience was treated to a very entertaining cha cha and jive dance by 12 energetic boys and girls aged between 6 to 11 years old. This was followed by a classical string ensemble performance by 6 young violinists aged 6 to 10 years old.
Another entertainer of the night was celebrity performer Dato AC Mizal who gave a smooth rendition of ‘September’ by Kool & the Gang. During the peak of the show, the master of ceremony Ms. Megan Tan announced the names of the Top 10 kids models who were selected from over 120 kids who participated in the JUNIOR LOOKBOOK KIDS SUPERMODEL SEARCH 2018 last month. Proud parents and family members took the opportunity to take pictures of the winners who took away specially made tall pyramid clear glass trophies as well as attractive prizes.
