1th October 2017 – The Junior Lookbook Pavilion KL FASHION GALA 2017 was held at Centre Court of Pavilion KL today with 500 seated guests and more than a thousand of crowd standing around the round center stage. It began with a ‘Star Walk’ via the Spanish Steps of Pavilion KL by the Group’s Chairman Mr. Brian John Yim, who led a VIP entourage which consists of YM Dato Paduka Toh Puan Seri DiRaja Noor Aini Abdullah, YM Tengku Sharifah Nurul Afzan Jamalullai and her princess YM Puteri Ava Inaia Ikhwan Sobrini, Dato Joyce Yap - Chief Executive Officer of Pavilion KL Retail, YBhg. Datuk Rashidi Bin Hasbullah - Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, Ms. Silvia Marrara – Deputy Head of The Italian Embassy and prominent celebrities such as Dato AC Mizal and his wife Datin Emylia Rosnaida, Mr. Aril Pilus and Puteri Erma Edlinda, Mr. Arja Lee, Ms. Amber Chia, Ms. Chris Chan, and other public figures and socialites.
After the welcoming speeches by Mr. Brian and Group Managing Director Mr. Matthew Benjamin Yoon, a group of 9 kids dancers, aged between 10 and 12, stunned the audience with a vigorous Latin dance! The audience gasped with astonishment as they watched the kids dancers moved with such energy and precision! The second program was just as impressive – ‘The Little Beatles’ Kids Music Band consisting of a lead singer, an electric guitarist, a bassist and a drummer, who rendered a number from The famous UK Beatles Band – “I want to hold your hand.’
The runway choreography was indeed very special. The first kids models to appear wore limited edition couture pieces designed by French designer Mr. Jean Paul Gaultier. The gals wore fresh flower crowns and walked the runway gracefully towards the center round lit stage. The second show featured 60 kids models wearing the junior line apparels and accessories from FENDI, KENZO, STELLA McCARTNEY & PAUL SMITH.
To commemorate Junior Lookbook Pavilion KL’s coming first year anniversary, there was a signing ceremony on the GIANT JUNIOR LOOKBOOK MAGAZINE by Mr. Brian John Yim, Mr. Matthew Benjamin Yoon, YM Dato Paduka Toh Puan Seri DiRaja Noor Aini Abdullah, Dato Joyce Yap, Datuk Rashidi and Ms. Silvia Marrara.
